The Eden Smart Proxy Lightpaper was released today, and the future of Eden Governance on EOS has never looked more exciting. So what does this all mean for the Eden community?

One of the exciting first aspects of this new initiative is the potential APR that could flow back to all token holders. This demonstrates Eden's capability to reach beyond its community, providing a financial incentive to all stakers.
The introduction of a more accountable and transparent BP relationship has been debated, but a feasible solution has seemed to evade the community. The ESPx Litepaper provides the roadmap. Eden members now have a transparent platform for discovery and the ability to rank BP's that stand for principles directly benefiting the community. This is a massive opportunity for Eden and the EOS ecosystem. The Litepaper discovers a win-win solution offering a substantial increase in BP pay and overflows that can be reinvested into ecosystem growth/development.
The Eden Smart Proxy website is now up and running for users to delegate their vote and also for Eden members to rank the current whitelisted BPs. Support has been signaled and momentum continues to build with many BP's having already signed up! It is great to see this whitelisting initiative already being accepted by so many BPs.
NodeOne CEO Hahn Ryu identified DPoS pitfalls early on with EOS and has been working for three years to find a solution beneficial to the entire ecosystem. It is extremely exciting to watch his efforts materialize. Hahn has been a driving force in both the Eden English and Korean communities. He has held a Chief Delegate position in the English-speaking Eden. Hahn presented the Lightpaper to the Korean community prior to this blog's publication and reports that it was very well received.
